dragonfly

So my final full-time semester has started and I’ve been so busy with class projects! I’m taking 4 studio class plus Honors in Art which pertains to my BFA show. I’m really enjoying digital illustration. Although I’m very familiar with photoshop, I started using a wacom tablet to draw, and it’s amazing! I’ve uploaded a small preview of what the dragon fly looks like so far. That’s basically our project, we have to pick 2 insects and draw them in 2 different styles. The next one I will probably do a cartoon style. I’m really having so much fun with the drawing tablet, I have to get myself one – and a mac computer along with it!

I also started working on my BFA sketches. My theme of my BFA show will revolve around children, but I don’t want to go into too much detail about the theme, I want it to be more of a surprise! But I will be digitally illustrating them and also have some handmade collages. I’m very excited! Just about 6 months left to go!
