My *emera bag

Photo

I had wishlisted the emera bag back and ended up getting it for my birthday! (woohoo!). I will say that it has been a GREAT bag for all my cameras and other photography items. I want to also mention that this is not a sponsored blog post and my desire to blog about this bag is because I actually love it not because I was asked or paid to.

I had been looking for a new bag for a while and when Ashley made this great blog post ALL about camera bags, I clicked every link until I found something that could work for me. I’m not too much of a girlie girl but I knew I didn’t want a traditional black camera bag – its just too boring.

Emera Circle Print Messenger

This emera bag is the “Circle Print Messenger Bag“. It’s SUPER sturdy, and the strap is the same if not stronger than a seat belt. The bag is may not seem too big, and it isn’t but it does hold a lot. I currently have my dSLR, an extra zoom lens, a lensbaby, my instax camera and other small items in mine. It comes with 4 separators and they attach by velcro. All of the sides on the inside can work with the velcro. So far I have only had to use 3 but there are plenty of pockets to keep the extra one around.

The bag has magnet snaps and the cover is slightly heavy enough to fall on its own.

There are three pockets, one on the front, on the back and on the inside. All-in-all this is a great bag and has worked perfectly on trips through the city and I don’t have to worry about my camera because this bag is very strong and protects it enough. I’m very picky when it comes to my electronics… I always want to keep them safe! So if you are on the fence about getting this bag, maybe because of the price or you are not sure about it… I would say GO FOR IT. This is a bag that will last you a long time to come. paper camera

Technology

Yesterday I downloaded Paper Camera on my droid2 one of my friends suggested I download it. It’s fun and has some really artsy effects for photos – probably the best photo effect app I have tried. Effects like “sketch up” “pastel perfect” and “bleaching”. It was only 10 cents yesterday during Android’s Celebration but even though now it’s back to $2 its definitely worth it…

birthday wishlisted

Photo

My birthday is next month and my mom keeps asking “what do you want? send me your wishlist!”. This has got to be the first year where I have no idea. I have a few things I could USE but nothing I am super excited for… does that make sense? Can they invent something I want before my birthday please? These are some things I had in mind:

I really could use a bigger camera bag to hold my extra lenses too…

These photoshop magnets are just great, especially considering I am using it most of my day

I did want to get a macro lens for my lensbaby… hmmm!

Any other cool things I should know about for my wishlist?? Let me know! 🙂
