the year of the muppets

Art/ www

About 2 weeks ago I ordered this shirt from Threadless – a really awesome Muppet shirt of Kermit but when you look closely, you can see ALL the characters he is made out of. I just love it. I can’t even believe it has sold out already, well actually I can because who doesn’t love the Muppets? I think every 80’s baby can agree… The Muppets are LEGENDS. I think if you really want the shirt you can just visit the “bring em back” section and you can vote for it to be re-printed again.
I’m even more excited because a handful of known musicians got together and remade songs from the Muppets and called it The Green Album. I haven’t bought it yet, but its wishlisted. My birthday is in less than 2 months so I will just be patient!! It will also get me pumped for The new Muppet movie coming out this Thanksgiving.

Ken’s Movie Reviews

Videos/ www

Creativity I believe has been handed down to my brother and I through our genes! Well really, that is just my belief. After many years of trying to convince him to write – I helped my brother create his own movie review blog. He is very passionate about movies, and can explain things to you about the acting, the cast, the director etc… things I never thought about with movies! I just saw the movie Black Swan and I needed an explanation – my brother was the first person I called. He is very talented and notices details only a certain mind or eye could catch. He writes very well too and I think combining both of what he does well into his own outlet is a great idea. I can 100% see him being one of those insane genius directors for movies one day. Of course with any kind of art you need to put yourself out there and make yourself be known! This blog is his start – and I wanted to share it here. Follow his blog and get a special treat from yours truly 🙂 Just let me know if you do…

Frankenstein and Wax

From my collection of old Horror Movie Posters I re-created, I made some wallpapers to share in celebration of Halloween. Both have a grungey worn style, which was consistent with all the posters I did. I truly enjoyed that project, and rather than just have it sit in a file folder on my mac, I figured I’d share! A Frankenstein wallpaper and The Mystery of the Wax Museum wallpaper. Feel free to download and use as you like, but please give credit. Although I still don’t know what I’m going to be for Halloween, hopefully these can inspire you in some way. Please let me know your thoughts on these 🙂 Still have many more horror posts to come…

the lovely bones

The Lovely Bones movie premiered in January 2010, if you haven’t seen it, its now out on DVD. Add it to your netflix queue! I suggest it, and yes it is a sad kind of movie, but the surreal images through the movie are awesome! I don’t think its been given enough credit. Definitely very creative and pleasing to look at. The website also has some AWESOME wallpapers, the one with the tree being my favorite. Even if you haven’t seen the movie, you can still rock the wallpapers! Find them at
