This video from Improv Anywhere is quite old in “You Tube Years” but I got a kick out of it – I hadn’t seen it until a few days ago. I’m always amused by actors having to stand completely still – I’m not sure why. This video is really funny – I am now wondering is this a reality tv show somewhere that I don’t know about?
What to paint part 2
This entry is a sequel to a previous entry I had written – What to paint?
I enjoy painting very much but sometimes its hard to know what to paint or where to start. Some questions you might want to ask yourself, and you may find yourself coming to a conclusion of what you want to paint.
Do you have a style? Realistic or abstract?
Do you like bright colors or dark colors?
High contrast or faded?
Do you have a palette of colors you’d like to use?
How big do you think you want the painting to be?
Do you have things that you enjoy seeing visually? Write them down.
For example, I love trees, stars, circles, letters, ampersands and mermaids
If I wanted to I could google any of those things and possibly come across something that inspires me. If you’re photoshop savvy you could manipulate an image and then paint it.
However, some might like to work from memory, and not have something to look at while painting. You could visit sites like tumblr and search keywords such as “art” “painting” or “creative” and let it inspire you. This is a great exercise just to get the creative juices flowing… especially if you do not have anything particular in mind.
I had done a painting of a bare tree recently, I think trees without leaves are beautiful! But I feel as though bare trees are always seen in the dim winter, with snow on the ground and cloudy skies. I do not feel that many can see this beauty, so I made my painting with lots of a color and a silhouette of a bare tree. My style is not realistic… it never has been. I lean toward the abstract/cartoonish style. It’s just me… and I’ve even been told I am a better abstract artist that anything else.

Is it me… or did anyone else notice these store signs/logos look oddly similar? Ok so the type is one thing, but the COLORS TOO?! What is this world coming to… !

My *emera bag
I had wishlisted the emera bag back and ended up getting it for my birthday! (woohoo!). I will say that it has been a GREAT bag for all my cameras and other photography items. I want to also mention that this is not a sponsored blog post and my desire to blog about this bag is because I actually love it not because I was asked or paid to.
I had been looking for a new bag for a while and when Ashley made this great blog post ALL about camera bags, I clicked every link until I found something that could work for me. I’m not too much of a girlie girl but I knew I didn’t want a traditional black camera bag – its just too boring.
This emera bag is the “Circle Print Messenger Bag“. It’s SUPER sturdy, and the strap is the same if not stronger than a seat belt. The bag is may not seem too big, and it isn’t but it does hold a lot. I currently have my dSLR, an extra zoom lens, a lensbaby, my instax camera and other small items in mine. It comes with 4 separators and they attach by velcro. All of the sides on the inside can work with the velcro. So far I have only had to use 3 but there are plenty of pockets to keep the extra one around.
The bag has magnet snaps and the cover is slightly heavy enough to fall on its own.

There are three pockets, one on the front, on the back and on the inside. All-in-all this is a great bag and has worked perfectly on trips through the city and I don’t have to worry about my camera because this bag is very strong and protects it enough. I’m very picky when it comes to my electronics… I always want to keep them safe! So if you are on the fence about getting this bag, maybe because of the price or you are not sure about it… I would say GO FOR IT. This is a bag that will last you a long time to come. Happy Football
I recently made some Blackberry Backgrounds for my boyfriend’s new Blackberry phone – thought I would share since I am sure there are others who might enjoy… They are 640 x 480.

Beach Chair by Jay-Z really moves me. The radio plays a lot of noise but with certain people you just know their is real talent there.
