google web fonts

Design/ www

I recently discovered this from Google with it’s fairly new interface. In sites I’ve design we’ve used “cufón” for typefaces we wanted to have as actual text and not an image. it’s use through javascript and can slow down the site’s load time depending on how much you use. But Google has these fonts on their servers and it can link off there. The tutorial to add the fonts to your site seems pretty simple and now I am wondering if there is a wordpress plug-in for this. Google currently has 271 fonts and they seem to be growing because last time I checked the site was in the 250s. I love the idea that we are having more and more ways to be unlimited in our designs. Who says header tags always have to be Helvetica or Georgia? No fun. Not for me!
