Yes, I’m a font snob

I was searching the other day, trying to figure out how I could get Helvetica on my Windows computer at work. Of course only you can understand if you are a “font snob” yourself, how very different Arial and Helvetica are. But, that’s besides my point. I came across some funny things as I was searching.

I also read this blog post which I thought was hysterical. What if Windows 7 came bundled with Movie Stars? You will have to see for yourself.

I think the excessive amount of fonts have been the downfall to many past computers. Right now I’m pushing the 4500 mark, and every time I see one that I don’t have I download it regardless of whether or not it’s even going to be used. heh.

I would ZIP the helvetica fonts you do have onto a thumb drive and just boot ’em up when you get to work – if you haven’t done so already of course.

    Hope all is well.
