Design Is a Job

“From a client’s point of view, hire a designer to help you get a solution. Not to execute one. You wouldn’t go to a database analyst’s door with a fully realized database schematic. Don’t show up at a designer’s door with a drawing of a tuna can.”

Yes! Also don’t show up with the last designer’s design and expect me to “tweak” it, and don’t have your friend who kinda knows html mess up my design a month after the site launches,

Sorry, I still have some old bitterness, I guess.

Hahah! I have it too… that’s why I loved the quote! It’s from this book I’m reading, Design Is a Job.
