I came across a great collection of fonts over at losttype.com I will admit I am having trouble deciding which I want to download…
I saw an awesome post about the process of this commercial for dermablend so I wanted to share the final video. Note: contains real tattoos.

I just wanted to express my sadness for the fact that this fall’s new show The Playboy Club was canceled. Although the news is like 3 weeks old.. I’m still upset. It seems that shows set in the past can’t make it. But that is what I loved most about it! Instead of seeing iphones you get to see old fashion cameras! Some may think it is about little girls running around in a bunny costume but it’s far from it. They dealt with real drama and real issues that took place in the 60s. I only saw 3 or 4 episodes but I was hooked… I still am. I hope there is some chance of it returning on another channel… The website is still up so I captured some photos.

Speaking of costumes… Happy Halloween!!
Today I added a set of model brushes and Roy Lichtenstein brushes for photoshop in the goodies section. They work in CS4 but I can’t confirm higher versions – you can give it a try! Looking to make more brushes and scans soon. The weather here in NY is horrible this weekend… and I’m very disappointed because I was looking forward to this halloween weekend!
My design professor from college posted this on facebook:

I don’t know who designed it, it came from a long chain of facebook sharing. It made me laugh 😀
On my vintage store adventure over the weekend I came across this vintage photo with a beautiful graphic on the back. The image is actually glued to the card. I was told this is early 1900s but no exact date really. I fell in love with the graphic, it’s gorgeous! I will be featuring this in my vintage image scans.. soon.

Happy hump day everyone!! And I mean hump as in wednesday = middle of the week. 2 more days to go 🙂 ! Halloween is almost here, but I found this cool snowflake maker.
Remember folding a piece of paper into a triangle and making a paper snowflake? Now you can make a digital one here. This is fun but I think I will continue to make my paper snowflakes 🙂

I came across this flickr photo group – I love it! Shows how versatile trees really are… I think trees are beautiful. I love taking photos of them and I have quite a few in my portfolio. These are not my photos but the flickr group credits them to the artist!
